We had an email from a Fire Officer with this Q5 saying that he was desperate to clear the Adblue fault on his car, he uses it daily too and from work but now it had the dreaded Adblue notice come up on the dashboard with ‘NO START’ in 600 miles, even though the tank was full the system did not recognise there was Adblue in the tank, thus thought it was empty. That took around 5 minutes to cure that and get everything up and running again, but then he also asked about remapping, he had friends at the station that had, had it done and thought he would give it a go as well, so after explaining what remapping does and how it can help gain MPG and torque he decided to go ahead with it, 20 mins later with a clean bill of health he was off for a test drive, this version of Q5 was the 2.0L fitted with  Bosch EDC17C46 ECU and 175hp – 380nm torque, so the gains are 50hp and 60nm which on a large vehicle like this is well worth doing!
