Today we had the opportunity to work on a VW Transporter equipped with a standard 102hp engine. The customer reported that it felt fairly ‘flat’ to drive, leading them to seek our mobile remap service in Arnold, Nottinghamshire. Many drivers wish to enhance their vehicle’s performance without compromising its integrity, and that’s where our expertise comes in.
This particular model features a 5-speed gearbox, and the owner was understandably cautious about pushing it too far past its limits. We assured them that we could remap the engine to provide a torque increase that aligned with their desires while keeping the gearbox’s safety in mind. Our team specializes in customizing remaps for various vehicles, ensuring a balance between performance and reliability.
Initially, the engine provided around 250 Nm of torque. Through our meticulous remapping process, we successfully increased this by approximately 100 Nm.
